    I’m confused! If OSAS isn’t true how then can you explain the unbreakable chain of calling in Romans(I believe, was it?)

    The answer I received was that it isn’t saying God elects unbelievers to become believers, but that he effectually glorifies the believers without fail. So, they do agree there is some inexorable chain here–that chain being: group X are predestined to state Y.

    Group X are unbelievers and state Y is “in-Christ” according to Calvinists.
    Group X are believers and state Y is “glorification” according to Arminians.

    Both seem to agree there is some inevitability here. Or at least that’s what I heard from Arminians… corporate election that you can leave doesn’t seem congruent with the unbreakable calling.
